Transportation >> RI DMV Permit Test - CCRI students Only
« back to courses page

This section of the RI DMV permit test is available only to those students that have completed and passed.CCRI's 33-hour Online Driver Education course.

Due to limited capacity for driver permit testing at the RI-DMV, CCRI is experiencing a significant increase in demand for driver permit testing. After course completion, students may register for the CCRI RI DMV Permit Test or make an appointment to take the test at the RI DMV.

Driver permit tests are offered at CCRI’s Flanagan Campus and Warwick Campus. Please do not schedule to take a driver permit test on more than one date. Walk-ins will not be accepted

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, driver permit test class size is limited. We are adding new testing dates as quickly as possible.

Parents: If you are scheduling a driver permit test for your child, please enter the name and appropriate information of the child who completed the CCRI driver’s education course, not your name.

You do not need a certificate from CCRI to enter the test, but you need to have completed with CCRI and provide your birth certificate or passport to get entrance to the test. You will get a certificate after you successfully pass the test. If you plan to take the test at the DMV, please contact our office to request that proof of course completion be mailed to you.

IMPORTANT: Individuals who require accommodations in a Drivers Ed Permit Test should contact DriverEd@ccri.edu at least 7 days prior to the test date. Please include your name, phone number, and best time to call in the e-mail.
